Sketches visible in drawings

Sketches visible in drawings

Sketches visible in drawings

(OP)
When working on a drawing, sketches that I've made on the in the part file are selectable but not visible. When I'm trying to dimension edges of the part, it picks up the sketch lines and dimensions to them. Anybody else notcie this?

RE: Sketches visible in drawings

Go to the feature manager tree and the specific view you want to see the sketch in, right-click and select show sketch, you'll have to make sure the sketch is visible in the view menu.

Go Honda!

It seems that when a sketch is visible in part mode, it is selectable in drawing mode even when sketches are turned off "View/Sketches". I didn't want to be able to select the sketch because it kept getting in the way when I was dimensioning object lines. I hide the sketch in the part by right clicking it and choosing "hide". That worked.
