Hi
   I am looking to convert 224 FT.Lbf into J/cm². Can anyone assist me, help would be greatly appreciated.

You can not just convert from FtLbs to J/cm2. You can convert to J. If this question has to do with impact test energy you can convert to J/cm2 only if you know the test piece type and dimensions.

Ft-lbf (or pound force-foot) is a unit of energy and can be converted to Joules. The Joules/square cm is energy per unit area, so this is not a direct conversion from your ft-lbf. You need to know the ft-lbf/area to make the conversion complete.


1 lbf-ft = 1.36 J
