Is it possible to open a file or insert an XREF from the command line?

RE: Open or XREF

Yes.  I'm not at AutoCAD now so going by memory....

for xref, as I recall use the command "-xref" for command line version.  And by setting FILEDIA to 0, you should get only the command line when using "open" or "xref".

Thanks... I'll give it a try.  I'm playing with a game controller Nostromo N52 and it appears to be a real aid for entering commands by a single button... I'm trying to get it to load an XREF file at 0,0 and then scale it by the appropriate scale factor and set dimscale and ltscale... at at the press of a button...

dik,

What are you doing that you are needing to scale an xref, or are just playing around?
