Hydrolysis of ethyl acetate

Hydrolysis of ethyl acetate

Hydrolysis of ethyl acetate

(OP)
Does anyone know under(or have tips of literature) which conditions ethyl acetate will undergo hydrolysis? I’m looking for temperature, concentration and pH intervals in which it won’t undergo hydrolysis since I’m planning to use it as solvent.

Thanks for your help!

RE: Hydrolysis of ethyl acetate

Thanks, but I need more help. Let me rephrase the question:
What precautions need to be made to avoid loss of ethyl acetate due to acid hydrolysis?

I appreciate any help a lot!
