Optimisation Wizard

(OP)
Is anyone using the optimisation wizard in UG or under Structures?
Been experimenting with it and having fun with the optimisation engine.  e.g. I find that the optimisation algorithm seems to be basically a hill-climber, and so struggles to get over local inversions in the optimisation curve to get to the peak optimal solution.  (For comparison, CATIA5 has a simulated annealing routine that seems far better than this one).  Wondering what other users experience is, and any advice on how to get good answers?
