rbusara....it's a miniature filament bulb..can't locate an equivalent.
I need it for a piece of old equipment..only marking on it is CM82

I know I can nail it down if I can do a physical search of the bulb...it runs on 6vdc is all I know.

RE: Light bulb specifications

I know the problem. Web searches with keywords such as lamps or light bulbs turns up a million unreleated hits.

A good source for finding small bulbs and lamps is the JKL components catalog. Try their web site:
http://www.jkllamps.com/index.cfm?action=tech&tid=1

RE: Light bulb specifications

CM must stand for Chicago Miniature.  The P/N may be obsolete.  You could email their engineering department.

ruso:

While I can not directly help you, but as you can see every little bit of info helps..your description of lamp, narrows down the search field.

RE: Light bulb specifications

What sort of fitting is it?

MES? LES? something more exotic?

RE: Light bulb specifications

Google search for cm82 lamp turned up
stevenengineering.com/Tech_Support/PDFs/27MAIN.pdf on first hit.  Download the PDF, search for "cm82", it's on page 198.

Double contact bayonet bass.  Overall length 1.44 inches max, diameter 0.750 inches max.  Design voltage 6.5, 1.02 amps, MSCP 6.0, life hours 500, filament type C-2R.

Maybe this helps.
