2007 Graphics Cards

2007 Graphics Cards

2007 Graphics Cards

(OP)
Greetings.

I am having trouble getting the Real View graphics to work.

I have (2) Dell systems. The first is a Precision Workstation 360 with nVidia Quadro FX3000 The second is a Precison Mobile Workstation M50 with the Quadro4 700 GoGL

Both show as tested and approved for 2005/2006, but it would appear neither have been tested for 2007.

PLEASE tell me the cards are not the issue here.

Thanks in advance.

Ferris

RE: 2007 Graphics Cards

Have you looked them up on SW web site?
Check drivers. The FX3000 should be OK (driver 6.14.10.7756).
I do not know the Qudro4 700 GoGL. The 700 is listed, but not GoGL.

RE: 2007 Graphics Cards

Do you have the Shade folder in your SW install directory?

I have "shaders" and "shaders_soft" folders.

This will be huge dissapointment if the hardware won't support the function. These machines are not that old and everything was pretty much top of the line when purchased.

RE: 2007 Graphics Cards

The FX 3000 shows to support Realview graphics when using Drviers 77.56 so make sure you are using that driver and if everything checks out then you need to contact your VAR.

RE: 2007 Graphics Cards

Check to see that you don't have a color applied to the part.  Sometimes that screws up RealView Graphics.  If there is a color applied to the part try removing all colors.  Also ensure that you have the material applied to your part.  I had a problem with that when I switched to '07.

Hope that helps.
