Save Drawing as PDF, Separately

Save Drawing as PDF, Separately

Save Drawing as PDF, Separately

(OP)
Good aftermoon, I have a drawing with two separate sheets on it.  I would like to send a PDF copy of the first sheet to one directory and send another PDF copy of the second sheet to a different directory.  So far, I have only been able to send both sheet to a directory.  Is there a way to send these one sheet at a time?  Thank you in advance for any suggestion or assistance.

RE: Save Drawing as PDF, Separately

Instead of doing a 'Save As', you could print them to PDF. That way you'd have your usual printing options.

Thank you for your response, it worked.

RE: Save Drawing as PDF, Separately

I hate to ask why you would want them separate. They should be together as same dwg. I guess a lot of companies do it different these days.

Actually it is easy, one is a Mfg drawing, with all of the data, and the other is a sales drawing, which does not have very much data on it.  They are then linked to our business system and with the click of one button or the other that version will open and can be printer as well.  Does that make sense?  Thanks, again.

RE: Save Drawing as PDF, Separately

I guess it would work. I'm used to adding the sales data to the Design Binder as a Word doc. To me, the dwg is for manufacturing purposes only.
mirisj's suggestion will work in your case.

You could do them as two separate drawing files linked to one model file, at least thats the way I would handle it. Then you could keep each in their respective folders and batch PDF them easier.
