Bus admittance matrix vs hand calc

Bus admittance matrix vs hand calc

Bus admittance matrix vs hand calc

(OP)
Hi,

Should the fault results be the same if i use these two methods:

1. bus admittance matrix
2. hand calc by using Thevenin equivalent sequence circuits

Thanks

RE: Bus admittance matrix vs hand calc

Yes, for all three phase balanced faults.  Your bus admitance matrix for unbalance faults will have to be compiled from an equivalent sequence component circuit or using Modal domain to decouple the impedances.
