info on thermal contact resistance, gold-aluminum
info on thermal contact resistance, gold-aluminum
(OP)
I'm looking on some data for thermal contact resistance of gold to aluminum. Specifics, although not particularly relevant, since I'm not doing lab-grade research here -- just more of an estimation:
thick film "soft" gold ~32 uin RMS on a ceramic substrate
machined 6061-T6 aluminum, no surface finishing (anodize/chromate conv./etc), 16-32 uin RMS
contact pressure (TBD, but might be outside of the "light" range).
thanks for the help.
