Hi,

What is he most common way of thigtness testing the fillet welds of vertical storage tanks of large diameter (50' and more) Design code BS 2654(API-650).

Normally vacuum box testing during construction, hydrotest on completion.

Are you talking about the "T" joint welds where the bottom and side join?

No, I mean the butt and lapjoints in the bottomplates.
