Hi everybody,
First of all I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your concern on my queries. You quys are the best and this forum rules.
I'm quite new in the area of API 650 tank design and engineering, so I would appreciate some guidelines and technical directions on the above mentioned field of expertise. I' m not interested of being a TANK omniscient, I just need the basics so as to technically evaluate a TANK study. Any rules of thumb, "do"'s and "dont"'s, accumulated experience, technical links, will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.!!!!

RE: API 650 tank guidelines.

I recommend the following reference -

Philip E. Myers, "ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANKS", McGraww-Hill, 1997.

RE: API 650 tank guidelines.

gbrat....

"tonycola" is on the money with his suggestion. Phil Myers Storage tank book rocks....

Also suggest that you get a hold of a recent copy of API-650, 620 and do several GOOGLE searches related to flat bottomed tanks.

Also try: www.ast-forum.com...

Let us know what else you find...
