Glulam Standards

I am looking for the standards as to how wood design values are derived in North America. I have good knowledge about the German and Swiss Codes, I need to however do a comparison to the American Codes.

Where do I find information about standard methods of testing and deriving design values for glued laminated beams?
How do I get a copy of the ANSI Standard A190.1-92 (standard for glulam)?

I am doing research on the North American glulam industry and hope to get as much help on glulam as possible. Thanks

RE: Glulam Standards

Contact the American Institute of Timber Construction or the American Plywood Association- Engineered Wood Systems.
