RE: Gerber file in protel DXP

I'm not sure what you're after. Do you want to view them in the positive rather than the negative or do you want to make postive film rather than negative?

In DXP to view the Gerbers in the opposite, from Camtastic slect "View" then "Views" and "Negative". OR, you can just hit the N key.

If you want to change a layer from postiive to negative, from Camtastic select "Tools", then "Film Wizard", then click the "Neg/Mirror" and select which layers you want to mess with.

After Gerber files are generated, positive on negative film is controlled by the Gerber viewer tools the vendor has, and what film the vendor uses. If you send film to the vendor, and he only has negative, he can quickly make a contact print of a negative to get a positive.
