Pressure vessel material and head geometry inquiry.

Hi everybody,
1)Where can I obtain the SA 515 Gr. 60, DIN equivalent?
Generally as an outcome of your experience and research, which is the best and trustworthy source for ASME to DIN and EN material equivalents?
2) Could somebody assist on how semi-elliptical and torispherical geometries are achieved during the plate forming process? I have lots of trouble when I need to quote for a plate to be formed to a 2 : 1 elliptical head, because I can't define the precise dimensions of it prior of forming. How should I handle this one.?
My best regards to all of you that support new engineers in the quest for solid knowledge.
George.

RE: Pressure vessel material and head geometry inquiry.

Go to Qualities and start looking for an equivlent. Also you might find  a supplier.

Are you trying to form heads or you trying to supply plate to a head former?
