User Pattern

(OP)
I have a die design that I am trying to use a User pattern between the upper shoe(product file) and upper pad(product file) to keep constraints for location. Could someone tell me how to utilize this. Thank you

RE: User Pattern

Ryan - create a part file to store the common data.  Make a sketch representing your locations, publicate it (tools --> publication).  Copy paste with link to both parts.

Derek

RE: User Pattern

Hi,

I agree with 1st reply.. but if you dont want to create a new part you can publish the same in one of the part and link it to the other this way you wont have to keep an additional part.
