What's the white dot on the origin?

What's the white dot on the origin?

What's the white dot on the origin?

(OP)
I hate to ask such a trivial question, but this thing is driving me nuts...

I have a small white square dot at the origin of my parts.  I can't turn it off.  What is it?  I looked all over for what it might be--can't find anything.

Help?  Thanks,

Brian

RE: What's the white dot on the origin?

Strange.  Normally it's a blue asterisk-sort-of-thing with two arrows coming out.  Go to View > Origins to toggle off/on visibility within parts/assemblies.

Reason trumps all.  And awe trumps reason.

RE: What's the white dot on the origin?

Do you see the white square when you open a new document?

Do you also see the normal origin?

What do you see if you zoom in on it?

What video card are you using?

cheers
