ASCII buffer & trigger

ASCII buffer & trigger

ASCII buffer & trigger

(OP)
I have an Rfid unit producing an 8 Character ASCII code several times a minute, which is fine.

My problem is I want the code releasing at a certain time( a second input). The Rfid unit cannot be tuned or played with to do this so my thought is to use some sort of buffer that will store the data until it sees a trigger, then dump it's memory ready for the next input.

Any thoughts.

RE: ASCII buffer & trigger

Use a PIC RFID development board and let it read and buffer the messages as needed.
