Compare different revisions of a dft?

Compare different revisions of a dft?

(OP)
Is there a function that will allow me to "overlay" or somehow compare two revisions of a drawing to verify the changes and see any discrepencies?

RE: Compare different revisions of a dft?

As far as I know there is no automatic way, unless there is a third-party add-on that will do it.
One way would be to drop the old revision draft onto the new one as a symbol - make sure your settings are set to
Insert As > Symbol.
You could also insert as a block, but make sure it's NOT set to insert as graphics.
To set the type of insertion RMB on the pathfinder area in Draft.

That function is a must (compared to SW which has it from long ago). I hope my prayers are heard on this one... smile
