Simplified Rep Part for Drawing

Simplified Rep Part for Drawing

Simplified Rep Part for Drawing

(OP)
Can you insert a simplified rep from a part model into a drawing?  When I make my simplified rep active and start a new drawing, the master rep always comes into the drawing.

Thanks.

RE: Simplified Rep Part for Drawing

In Wildfire 2.0 it is not possible to use a simplified rep of a part on a drawing. The only workaround is to use an assembly with only the part in, or a family table.

RE: Simplified Rep Part for Drawing

Yes, the Part level simpl. rep option existed in earlier releases of ProE. Sometimes you will see the SIMPL REP option in the drawing view properties box, but you are asked to remove this option going forward.
