Moving Both Witness Lines on One Dimension

Moving Both Witness Lines on One Dimension

Moving Both Witness Lines on One Dimension

(OP)
In ProE 2001, it was easy to move the pair of witness lines at the same time.

In WF2.0 it is a bit different.

1) Hold down the CTRL key, and click the drawing view associated with that dimension and the dimension.
2) Now drag the pointer and both witness lines will move at once.

Note: You can select multiple dimensions without having to pick the associated view.

RE: Moving Both Witness Lines on One Dimension

Cool!  I forgot that I was able to do that in 2001 lol

Its funny, in 2001, you just pressed the CTRL and clicked one witness line, then dragged the over. They they both moved.

This does not even work in WF1.0, but does in WF2.0. There is no documentation on this at all.

PTC is messing with our minds.

RE: Moving Both Witness Lines on One Dimension

That's a handy feature.  I stumbled onto it by accident about two years ago.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time.

RE: Moving Both Witness Lines on One Dimension

On a similar theme.......

Did you know that you can extend a line in WF2 sketcher by holding CTRL, click on the line end point, and drag. If the line crosses another, it will snap to it.
