Disappearing PDMWorks....

Disappearing PDMWorks....

Disappearing PDMWorks....

(OP)
I am using 2006 Pro, I ran a task scheduler thing earlier and stopped it. SW crashed, and now when I open SW the PDMWorks icon is gone... it got replaced with something that looks like windows explorer icon. top to bottom I have SW Resources, Design library, and now I got some goofy "file explorer". My PDM Stand alone works fine... I have re-booted several times.... Help!! What's going on here?!??!!!

RE: Disappearing PDMWorks....

It sounds like your PDMWorks client is not active in SolidWorks.  Go into "Tools / Add-Ins" and make sure there is a checkmark next to the PDMWorks item.

I tried that, there isn't an item for PDM at all....

RE: Disappearing PDMWorks....

Very bizarre......try stopping/starting PDMworks service on server? try a repair with the installation CDs?

RE: Disappearing PDMWorks....

Tried that too.... I guess I'm going to have to get SolidWorks themselves in on this issue. The PDMWorks admin is out of the country for 2 weeks... I'm a sitting duck.
