RE: Component in Drawing View

POLO!...but seriously, I don't think I understand what you are asking. Are you asking how to create a drawing view of a component using a macro, or are you asking where do you get a macro to create a component drawing?

RE: Component in Drawing View

In your GetSelected items...notice that your GetSelectedCount is actually 2. The first being the Drawing View and the second being the actual thing you selected.

Let me ask The question again
How can i get a component from a drawing View?
I can only get a assembly, but not a component by using .RootDrawingComponent Method....
I want to get that component and rebuild it using Marco
Pls Help ME>.<

RE: Component in Drawing View

What is your experience level with macros?  Ken's post is correct, assuming you want to access the component that the user has pre-selected.
