HydroCAD Reports

HydroCAD Reports

(OP)
When printing reports in Hydrocad is it possible to set up the report before printing so the format can be used on subsequent reports.  For instance I like to print routing diagrams in landscape, summaries in portrait and hydrograph plots in landscape. I'd like to print hydrographs of the ponds but not necessarily of the subcats.  It would also be useful to preview the assembled report on screen before printing.  At the moment I'm achieving the desired output but by printing each section bit by bit and hopefully remembering the previous page no. espeially when printing more thatn one copy of the report.  I'd be grateful for any advice.

RE: HydroCAD Reports

Try the "Save Settings" check box.  If you want different setttings for each type of node, you will have to do this by hand.

Reports use the selected portrait/landscape setting throughout.  If you want to print the diagram differently you can use Print|Diagram.

If you need a print preview, you can use a PDF driver to create a PDF file.  Please see www.hydrocad.net/printing.htm

RE: HydroCAD Reports

Peter,

PJC brings up some good ideas.  I have been using HydroCad for a while now.  Having a template that would allow various settings for different nodes etc. WOULD be a HUGE time & paper saver.
