modeling contact surface between shell element

(OP)
Hi everyone,
My model is a built up steel sections made from two  face to face channel sections connected by bolt.I am trying to model contact surfce between the overlap areas of thin steel plates.the plates are initially in contact. I am using shell93 to model the steel plates. To model surface to surface contact, i am using cont174 and targ170 element.I am tryng to model this so that they may not be in contact in future except the bolt location but can not penetrate each other.I dont know why I am getting error to define the contact element by contact wizard. If I mesh the area by contact elements then the condition is not satisfying. The contact surface penetrates the target surface a lot. I am using the default setting for contact analysis. If anyone has any suggestion about my problem  please let me know.I am really getting very hard time as I am a ew user of Ansys. I am not sure wheather the element is right or not. I am modeling the bolts by regid region constraint.
Thanx
Ame
