Electric problem
Electric problem
(OP)
Hi,
I have a model composed by a coil, a sheet and air.
I am using ANSYS 10 with the preference of Magnetic-Nodal.
The element type used are the following:
ET,1,PLANE13
ET,2,PLANE13
ET,3,PLANE13
KEYOPT,3,1,6
(Element type 1 the air, elemet type 2 the sheet and element type 3 the coil).
Thanks to KEYOPT,3,1,6 I have the possibility to introduce the sinusoidal damped current in all the nodes of the coil by "impressed current".
When is solving, it appears the next error.
"The value of volt at node 4694 is 2.025046E+61. It is greater than the current limit 1.E+25"
How can I resolve this error?
Thanks.

RE: Electric problem
In my opinion, you'd better check your model, especially the boundary conditions. Maybe there are some unfit conditions or small mistakes. Some just check it!
In mechanical simulation, when we don't give right boundary conditions, we usually get the same error as yours. So I give the advice.

Hope this helps,
