(OP)
1. Do condenser & evaporator pressure drop curves exist for these units?
2. Is there an acceptable oil loss specification for the new style shaft seal, example: 25 ml/week?
3. What's the maximum spec's for shaft alignment? Our measured vertical was 6.9 Angularity, 7.3 Offset. The horizontal readings were fine.
4. What is the shaft seal oil pressure specification?

RE: York YT Centrifugal Specs

York should definitely be able to provide all spec's and likely factory test data for your particular chiller if you send them this info.

RE: York YT Centrifugal Specs

1. Yes

2. York changes this measurement consistantly. The new bellows style seal is pretty good as far as stopping the seal leak issues.

3. Have to look it up

4. Seal cavity pressure should be set just above atmosphere while the machine is running, just enough to stop it from sucking in air. The books states 1 to 3 PSI if I'm not mistaken.
