Replace Component Type Things

Well, before I do this individually in all 8 or 9 places, Let me ask you guys the question.

I have a bunch of parts that is in a sub assy (it's a kitted assembly). Originally my higher ups wanted the parts called out individually in the drawing (and identified as such in the PL) Now they want ONLY the kit identified. I can INSERT > COMPONENT > ASSY FROM SELECTED COMPONENTS for the first one.  But I'm pretty sure I won't be able to just "insert" the new assy where the old parts (or old base part) was... Any ideas.

RE: Replace Component Type Things

Select the parts that form the kit.
RMB click on the first or "base" part.
'Form New Sub-assy Here'.
Fix any broken mates.

cheers
