Additional Variables at Opening BC

Additional Variables at Opening BC

Additional Variables at Opening BC

(OP)
Hi everyone,
what I need is to be able to have the same values of my "Additional Variables", as input to the opening boundary (at top of my Bubble Column), as they (Additional Variables) are inside (at the very top of) the column, and not something totally different (new) coming to the domain (just because there is an opening boundary). Therefore, I found a way to solve the problem, but unfortunately I have a problem using it: I thought of using CEL as the value of AV for the re-entering the column at the opening, and with that I could use a specific  value of the Oxygen concentration at the near of the opening. The CEL looked like this: probe(OxygenInLiquid)@babajoon   (probe give a value, Oxygeninliquid is the AV and babajoon is a specific position (inside the domain (near the opening) and I wanted to set this CEL as the value of the AV (Oxygeninliquid) at the opening, so that it would use a value similar to what is inside the domain!!! But unfortunately I am not allowed to use any derivations of the Variable to specify the same variable :( it looks logical… but in my case I need the same value of AV inside at a e.g. specific place to use for the same AV at the opening…

I really appreciate your help & reply,

Best regards,

Houman
