Proving Arc-Flash Compliance...
(OP)
A customer asked us to make sure our panels are Arc-Flash Compliant, and if they aren't - they told us we need to use a divider between the 480V and 120V circuitry. We've never had to deal with this issue, how/where can I find info on proving that our panel would be Arc-Flash compliant? Is it a matter of all the 480V devices being listed by the MFG as being compliant, or are there calculations and a certain rating in UL508 or NFPA79 to list a panel as arc-flash compliant?? thanks in advance for any help...

RE: Proving Arc-Flash Compliance...
I have not seen any standards for arc flash compliant panels. Are they making the request so there is no exposed 480 V energized components, so arc flash does not apply?
