Hi we use Open Office at our workplace, but in order to export   the V5 bill of material into spreadsheet format you have to have Microsoft Excel installed. Is there a way around this? We find the Op'Of' package has superior functionality for our business enviroment and allows us to intigrate our databases better.

RE: BOM and product managment, using Open Office

pdutoit - I am looking at Open office very shortly, you can export to a text file.  From this could you not import into the excel equivalent of open office via Data - Get External Data - Import from text file (Excel option)?

Regards,
Derek
