DC Circuit Breakers

DC Circuit Breakers

DC Circuit Breakers

(OP)
Does anyone have any advice on choosing circuit breakers to operate at DC?  Looking at a 725 VDC 2 wire, ungrounded system, it seems like I'm going to need to series at least 3 poles and break the return path too (another 3 poles)...

It sure would be nice to be able to do this with only 1 CB per circuit...any ideas?

looking at 100 - 800 amp frame sizes...

Thanks a lot!

RE: DC Circuit Breakers

There are circuit breakers listed for DC use. They may be listed for both AC and DC. Check with leading circuit breaker manufacturers.

What is the 750V DC application an equipment or a battery string?
