I've got 2 drawings which are acting funny.  I've got 2 parts which are very similar and were made by completing one and its associated drawing and then copying (by doing a Save As) to get my second set.

Now, when I open either drawing, my toolbars are grayed out and I can't open another file through the pull down menu. I've got a bunch of section views and can't access the properties of the views either.  It's almost like I've got the dawing open view-only, although I didn't open it that way.

Hovering the pointer over a view gives me the lightning bolt thingy which I can't for the life of me remember the meaning of.

Any thoughts?

OK, that's kind of what I thought.

So one page of my drawing shows the views as lightweight and the second page (same part) does not.

I'm starting to get a bad feeilng about this.........

OK, I had the same thing happen again.  I believe the common thread is that I took the files home and worked on them on my home workstation which is at SP0.0 (I'm on SP4.0 at work).

Has anyone heard of SP0 corrupting data that was previously OK in a later SP?

RE: toolbar grayed out

My apologies ... the lightning bolt signifies a Draft Quality view ... not lightweight.

cheers
