Solidworks Unhandled Error

Solidworks Unhandled Error

Solidworks Unhandled Error

(OP)
When using "smart dimension" with solidworks they software crahses,  displaying the message "Solidworks has terminated due to an unhandled error.

I loaded the software on another PC and it runs fine, both pc's are Dells running Windows XP Pro both about 1 year old.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Solidworks Unhandled Error

Sounds like a corrupt install on your machine.  Try a clean uninstall and then reinstall, being sure antivirus software is disabled.

Thanks for your info,

Tried that many times, but still getting the same error.

Anyother suggestions?

RE: Solidworks Unhandled Error

Are both PCs running the same SP?

Do both have the same specs? (video card/driver, etc)

cheers

NO!  The PC that works is running Windows XP Home with an on board video.

The PC that I am having problems is running Windows XP Pro witn a nVidia video card.

RE: Solidworks Unhandled Error

I guess you got it running since we have not heard from you or you got offended and left?
