Panasonic DV 551 T400X Manual Required

Hi all.

I have been out to a breakdown and there is a Panasonic DV 551 T400X Inverter that is not functioning properly. I need some information on the Inverters terminals such as what each terminal is for so that I can replace the inverter with another brands. If any one has a manual for one of these or has worked with one before I would be very helpfull for any support.

Regards

Jonathan Davies

Panasonic (part of the Matsushita group) often trade their VFD's under the name Nais. They are more well known for servo drives than basic VFD's. The following link shows a range of drives but not the one mentioned by you. Most companies use the same terminals through their generations of drives, so it might be that this information sheds light on your issue.

Thanks for the information. I had a quick look through but couldnt find what i was looking for. The terminal layout that I have is as follows.

Power R - Live Mains Feed
Power T - Netural

MT - Phase 1
MT - Phase 2
MT - Phase 3

TP1 and TP2 which I believe to be the Fault Signals
5v Which is self explanatory

FIN - Not Sure About
G - Common Ground
FOUT - Not Sure About

I1 G I2 I3 - I believe that these are digital inputs which are being used for speed control and also as a run signal.

I have a cable conected to FIN and the first G connection but am unsure of what it does. If anyone has anymore information then that would be great
