File Input in Matlab

File Input in Matlab

(OP)
Hi, I wanted to read in a file into matlab and view its contents. Would anyone know how to do that using an m-file (i.e. are they are any special commands for it)? Also, can I read in data from a file with any extension (specifically a .fsp extension)?
Thanks :)

RE: File Input in Matlab

Have you bothered to read Matlab's help file "Low-Level File I/O" and "Display?"

Do you know if the file.fsp is binary or text?

Hope this helps.
