Does anyone know of a small ID tube that can handle sodium hypochlorite?  Appreciate the help.

RE: Tube for Bleach Application

SloFlo,

Try with duplex type stainless steel. I think this is the corect material. We, though, used 316L for a vessel having a sodium chloride solution because duplex was not an option.

Hope it's helpfull enough!

Diego.

I'm trying to transport NaOCL at a low flow rate from one tank to another. The problem I am having is that I am not sure what the exact flow rate will be.  I would like to have a valve that I could adjust until I get just the right flow rate.  Can I do this using a pressure regulator?  I have 80#s available.

RE: Tube for Bleach Application

I'm sure you could use a pressure regulator, but why not just get a 115 chem feed pump and use that.  Walchem, Pulsatron and LMI Milton Roy all make pumps taht will fit this application.  I have seen other brands also but, cant remember other names off the top of my head.
