Paste a Tiff image on the Face of an EXtruded Circle

(OP)
I have a circle which I extruded .005 and now I want to by able to paste a logo image, which ia a TIFF, onto the face of the extruded circle, thus creating a round label.  I tried importing it as an objext were it looked like just what I wanted, till I tried revolving it and making a drawing out of it.  I tried to use imort as a picture, but that only appeared a background and I could never get it on to the extruded circle.Anyone have any suggestions here before I have to spend 3 or 4 hours making this in SW?  Thank you in advance to anyone with a suggestion on this.

Do you have photoworks? Use Decal.

If you have office you have Photoworks. Tools -> Add-Ins -> Photoworks

Look through help on using decals.

Thanks again, rfus.  OK, it is now in and I got the decal onto the face of the extruded circle and it can even spin around in circles.  I then tried to into port it into a drawing and no decal appeared, which I don't understand.  Well the same thing happen when I try and import it into an assembly?  Thanks. again.

RE: Paste a Tiff image on the Face of an EXtruded Circle

It will show in the assembly. It won't show in the drawing. Do you really need it in the drawing? You can insert a snapshot of the real view graphics or the rendering in the drawing.

You can use tools -> sketch tools -> sketch picture ...
Create this sketch on the face you want and use and it will show in the drawing.

Do you have access to Adobe Illustrator? This is a good way to create graphics from very thin bosses from your imported ai vectors.

Thanks again for the response.  I see what you mean and I have it appearing in the assembly files.  I have not been able to get it to appear in the drawing let.  This kind of explains it and no, I don't have access to Illustrator.  Why can't things just be simple?  Oh well I am now this close so thanks for everything.

If you use a shaded view in the drawing the decal will show.
