Hi there, well I hope soon, I’ll be changing jobs. This new place I want to work for uses SE. I’ve never used SE but I wouldn’t mind knowing another program (hey the more the better I say). Currently I use SolidWorks ’06. I’ve used it for some years now. I’ve also used Inventor (I really liked that program), some ProE, Solid Designer and of course AutoCAD v14 up to ’06. So as you can see I’ve used, albeit some not much, quite a few programs. So I got an academic copy of v.18. And I did the tutorial of the sheet metal, but I would like to know if there are any other tutorials out there in the wonderful world of the web. I’ve order a book from Amazon to start getting my self acquainted with SE. Any tips you guys suggest? (especially from those that have migrated from SW to SE) Thanks guys!

RE: Tutorials
Though I don't know why it worked selecting (checking) tools, options, general tab, 'indicate underconstrained profiles in pathfinder' seemed to fix the problem.
I'd do most of the tutorials that come with SE, I wouldn't start on Sheet metal since the first couple of Part tutorials help you get to know SE.
I don't know about other sources though. I pretty much taught myself with guidance from colleagues, I didn't even do the tutorials and had my first formal training last month having been working SE since V5 in 1999.
