Error message

(OP)
I recieve this message while conducting a soil analysis

Warning "The strain increment is so large that the program will not attempt the plasticity calculation at 391 points"

***ERROR: FIXED TIME INCREMENT IS TOO LARGE

Can anybody guide me, what is wrong because i tried to minimize the fixed time increment, but still recieve the same message

RE: Error message

For some reason your problem is too non-linear and the
solution fails to converge.

You should use automatic time increments (with the minimum increment set to a low value) to figure out how small the time increments should be.

RE: Error message

(OP)
i did that..and still have an error

RE: Error message

Look in Viewer to see where the positions that failed are. Usually it indicates a general error in your data or that your load is just too great. If you have perfect plasticity then try ramping the slope up from zero.
