I'm trying to add wireless data collection to a ps2 peripheral. the easyest way i figured was to make a Y connection on the wire and set up a RF tx from there, powered by the ps2 port [or if not then by an 5v-9v adapter] distance has to be at least 100ft. I was looking at the linxtechnoligies.com, ES series Tx and Rx how ever i am a novice, may i do the connection to the RF module it self? or to i need a decoder/encoder? is there a simplier way to do this?
