RE: unit material balance

Narmak, this is not serious, how can you expect anyone to give you sensible advice on something this vague? Please descibe exactly the engineering problem you are struggling with and we may be able to help you further...

epoisses,

as you know, every engineer may have different way of doing material balance for the same unit. where i was working before, we had a standard material balance sheet but here we do not have such a thing   . my problem is not doing the material balance for those units. i want to make database for each unit and i would like to know is there any standard way to do that. i was thinking of a have following: flow meter calculations, process data, gc data, calculations,

do i need more to add?

thanks

RE: unit material balance

Whatever the material balance you carry out, an enthalpy balance would serve as a serious bulwark.
