PDMWorks Standalone Client window disappears

PDMWorks Standalone Client window disappears

PDMWorks Standalone Client window disappears

(OP)
Hello,

I've installed sp 5.0 for Solidworks and PDMWorks (2006) and I've had this happen twice. When I start the PDMWorks Standalone client the window does not show. There is a button in the task bar, but the window is nowhere. I discovered that I can Maximize the window, then it shows up! When I Restore, then it disappears again. I can't move or resize the window to a useful position because I can't see it, Anyone no how to fix this?

Thanks,

ok, I solved my own problem. I went into PDMWorks Options, unchecked Remember Window sizes & Remember Window Positions. Then I resized the window, rechecked those two options and I'm fine now. I don't know what caused it, but that fixed it.

Thanks,

I have seen this before on laptops that are changed to use dual screens.

ctopher,

aha! I've got a wide-screen with PNP and dual screen capability. In adjusting my settings I sometimes accidentally activate that. I'm guessing that's it, Thanks.
