teamcenter default role

(OP)
In teamcenter I have two roles, Cad Designer and Design Checker. Whenever I open Teamcenter my default role is Cad Designer. I want the default role to be Design Checker. How do I set it this way? Thanks, Dave

RE: teamcenter default role

Unfortunatly you cannot set a default role.  The role that Tc defaults to is the one that was entered first when your ID was created.  Your admin can set your default role by removing the CAD designer role from your ID and then adding it again.

RE: teamcenter default role

I'm woking with previous version of Teamcenter (iMAN). there is some disadvatages in editing groupmembers. Some users (or most of them) I can not remove from one group(role). As I understood groupmember which I want to delete is refernced by signoff objects. It means user has signed some objects in release procedure. So now there are users in 2 groups in my database and I can not remove them from the old place.
How is this trouble solved in future releases (after v.7) of Teamcenter? Or may be you know how to solve it in v.7?

thank you anyway
