In a gymnasium is it best focus speakers from the middle out or from the corners in to control delay's and reverb

Depends on the gym, and the temperature, and how many people are in it, and a lot of other things. Gyms are the worst acoustic enviroment in the world to try to do a live performance. A sound engineers nightmare....
