I have found conflicting information regarding whether or not A194 Grade 2H can be galvanized.  Can someone give me some guidance on this?

Thanks in advance.

RE: ASTM A194 2H Nuts

The guidance you need is referenced in ASTM A/SA-194. Please review this document, it references coatings and their limitations.

From what I read, A194 2H galvanized nut is a valid substitution for the A563 galvanized nut?  Are there any loopholes I should be aware of?
