Export surface to autocad

Export surface to autocad

(OP)
How or is there any option in configuratin to export surface that I can open tha surface in AutoCad. Because I don't get a surface but Polyface vertex

RE: Export surface to autocad

I think your best bet would be to export your surface as a dxf or iges and try to open that in autocad. Depending on the complexity of your surface (a through curve mesh based on high order splines, for example) it may not translate well (or at all) to autocad.

RE: Export surface to autocad

I don't know if Autocad support surface convertion. I have no problem when I convert surface from nx3 to iges file and igesin from Mechanical Desktop.
