Linking points to a spreadsheet

(OP)
We need to create Loft data points. I would like to import them into a spread sheet for verification as well as being able to change the points and have the spreadsheets update or vice versus. Is there a good way of doing this?

RE: Linking points to a spreadsheet

If you needed to WRITE data out to a spreadsheet, you'll probably have to develope some sort of NX Open program, possibly using Knowledge Fusion.  However, if you only wish to READ data in, starting in NX 3, there are now calls that you can add to an expression that will read numerial values directly in from an external spreadsheet.

While in the Expression dialog, select the button labeled "f(x)" in the lower left corner and go to "Choose a Category" and select "spreadsheet" ("external-epreadsheet" in NX 3).
