ACAD @ not working

ACAD @ not working

ACAD @ not working

(OP)
Anyone know why when, for example, you goto draw a rectangle, and you want it to be say 100x100, you type in @100x100. But for some reason in Acad 2006 & 2007 the @ often doesn't appear, as though the keyboard is faulty (it isn't). This problem occurs on all our cadstations.
Any ideas??

RE: ACAD @ not working

Hi,
I would type @100,100..shadeshappy

ADT 2004
ACAD 2002

Ok smart ****! you know what i mean, even @100,100 has the same strange hit and miss with the @.
Never had this problem with any release below 2006....

RE: ACAD @ not working

If your OSnap is set and there are entities within the apeture box, Acad may snap to the entitiy instead of your @100,100.  You try Non @100,100 to see if that helps.  I have also seen trouble if the @100,100 is outside the Limits of the drawing.

RE: ACAD @ not working

I don't know about regular AutoCAD but in Civil 3D
they removed it and it bugs me to no end.
