Version 16 view definition problem

Version 16 view definition problem

Version 16 view definition problem

(OP)
I have a user that is using Catia V5 R16 and is having a problem defining a view. The file is a CatProduct and when he selects a face to define the view it acts like it is defaulting to the absolute planes instead. I have looked at all of the settings and nothing is jumping out at me as being different. We have also tried to create an axis system and using that as the defining plane, but no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

RE: Version 16 view definition problem

Sometimes in assembly mode it forgets where it is at.  Have you tried to exit out and restart catia.  You don't need to reboot.
Also - are you at the latest certified graphics driver.

Regards,
Derek
